On February 15, 2020, Flack was found dead in her flat in Stoke Newington, London. The lawyer acting for her family stated that her death was a suicide by hanging.

Her private funeral occurred in Greenacres Memorial Park at Colney near Norwich on March 10.

The inquest into her death opened on February 19 and was adjourned until August 5. On August 6, after a two-day hearing, the coroner found that Flack’s death was suicide.
