Drew Peterson remains in the custody of the Illinois Department of Corrections. He’s reportedly set to have a mental fitness check-up, as requested by his public defender.
Even if Peterson wins his post-conviction appeals, it doesn’t mean he’ll be released for sure.
Furthermore, Peterson is currently making rounds online after his interview with NewsNation was released.
During the interview, Banfield pushed Peterson to come clean and confess if he committed any other murders.
