Grace O Malley Kumar parents mourn the loss of their beloved daughter, who was killed in a violent rampage while trying to save her friend before Valdo Calocane knifed her.Â
Grace O Malley was a first-year medical student whose name came into the media prominence after the tragic news of her murder was shared.
She wanted to join the Royal Army Medical Corps. Not only that, but Grace wanted to go on to train as a surgeon.
A triple-killer named Valdo Calocane stabbed Grace, Barnaby Webber, and Ian Coates during the city-wide rampage last summer.
Grace showed bravery in defending Barnaby from the man who attacked her. Further, O Malley’s pleas of manslaughter based on diminished obligation were accepted at court on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old girl fought with Calocane before he turned on her.

Grace O Malley Kumar was born to her beloved parents, Sinead O’Malley (mother) and Dr Sanjoy Kumar (father).
Furthermore, Grace shared a good bond with her doting parents, who supported her for a long time.
They were proud of their daughter’s bravery as she tried to save her friend while being attacked by a knife.
Likewise, Sinead and Dr Sanjoy have discussed their daughter in the media. Dr. Sanjoy said,
“I’ve lost a daughter, but I think the country has lost someone who would have provided really good service to the community, and I think it’s a loss for all of us.”
