What Happened To Nex Benedict?

Benedict, an academically accomplished student, was involved in a severe fight on 7 February.
The fight, which took place in the school bathroom, was reportedly initiated by three older female students.
Benedict, who had been a target of school bullying for a long time, sustained significant injuries during the incident, including a fall that resulted in a head injury.
The aftermath of the attack left Nex with visible bruising and cuts across their face.
The severity of the situation was not immediately apparent, as Benedict’s mother confessed to 2 News.
A fellow student, who witnessed the incident, recounted the horrifying scene of assailants relentlessly attacking Benedict.
It has also been mentioned that Benedict was unable to reach the school nurse due to the seriousness of her injury.
In addition, the school staff’s alleged failure to promptly alert the police or an ambulance led to Benedict’s family rushing them to the hospital after school.
Upon learning about the fight, Benedict’s shocked family contacted the police from the hospital.
Despite being discharged the same day, Benedict was readmitted the following day, 8 February 8, when they tragically passed away.
Nex’s mother, Sue, revealed to the Independent that her child collapsed at home while on their way to an appointment.
Additionally, the local police are still investigating the cause of death.
However, the mother of Benedict’s friend believes that the severe trauma from the fight could have led to complications resulting in their untimely death.
