Following the death of Nex Benedict, a nonbinary student in Oklahoma, news has now flooded social media, going viral over the internet. After the death, their parents must be heartbroken after losing them at such a young age.
Nex used to be bullied at school just for being transgender. The bullying, this time, went to the next level when three girls beat him, which led to take their life.
Two years ago, Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed a law stating that students must use public school bathrooms that match the gender on their birth certificate.
This rule led to a situation on Feb. 7 where Nex Benedict, a 16-year-old sophomore at Owasso High School who identifies as non-binary and gender-fluid, was in the girls’ bathroom with another transgender student.
According to reports, Benedict was attacked by three girls in the girls’ bathroom and sustained serious head injuries when they were knocked to the ground.
Sue Benedict, their mother, stated that Nex had bruises on their face and eyes and scratches on the back of their head.

Oklahoma Non-Binary Nex Benedict Parents Mourns Their Loss
As said earlier, Nex Benedict, who used they/them pronouns, was found dead in the girl’s bathroom at their school.
The school stated on Tuesday that the incident lasted only two minutes before other students and a staff member stepped in.
By then, Nex had fallen to the floor and hit their head. However, nobody called for an ambulance.
A few weeks ago, on Feb. 7, bullying reportedly turned violent when Nex suffered serious head injuries during a fight at Owasso High School, as per the Owasso Police Department.
Sue Benedict received a call from the school that day and found Nex badly beaten, with bruises on their face and eyes and scratches on the back of their head.
According to Nex, they and another transgender student were involved in a fight with three older girls in a girls’ bathroom.
Nex was knocked down during the fight and hit their head on the floor, as relayed by their mother.
Police were called to Bailey Medical Center around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 7 by the parent of a 16-year-old female student from Owasso High School.
The parent reported that their child was involved in a physical fight earlier that day at the school.
The Police’s first statement mentioned that there was no report of the fight made to the Owasso police before they were informed at the hospital.
A school resource officer collected information upon arriving at the hospital.
The Police further added that the State Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the final cause and manner of death.
Losing a life that is precious to so many people at such a young age sure has made them heartbroken.
Nex Benedict, 16 years old now, is survived by his parents, friends, and family members.

People now want to know about the details of Nex Benedict’s real name, “Dagny Benedict,” father and mother. Who are they, and what are they doing after Nex death?
However, much information about Nex parents is not available to the media.
The only information regarding his parent’s details is that his mother’s name is Sue Benedict, while his father’s name is still to be disclosed.
As of now. Nex mother and father are mourning the loss and are seeking justice for the incident.
