Lucky Davis son CJ Johnson was found dead while boating. On Monday, February 19, the Valdosta Fire Department (VFD) found the body of a young man who had gone missing after his boat flipped while fishing on Ulmer Pond the day before on Sunday, February 18.
With the tragic news of the CJ sparking all over the net, netizens, as well as his family and friends, have been left heartbroken.
CJ’s fishing was more than just a hobby for him, which sadly took his life.
The accident happened when cousins De’markus Mosley and CJ Johnson were fishing together, and their boat flipped over.
Now the people are waiting to know what happened to him on that day also who was he.

Who Was Lucky Davis Son CJ Johnson
CJ Johnson recently passed away due to result of drowning while fishing in Valdosta Pond.
CJ ras born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia. He was very much into fishing in a very young age.
He along side his cousin used to go fishing in most of the weekend.
CJ Johnson was 22 years old while he left his friends and family.
His mother told that, “Twenty-two years I was blessed to have him in my life. God really broke the mold when He made my son,”.
Johnson’s mother wants the community to remember her son not just as a good child, but also as a wonderful father who will be deeply missed.
Moreover, CJ was also into basketball. He used to play basketball from his highschool and was quite popular for it aswell.

As mentioned earlier, a young boy body was found in the pond which later was found it was of CJ Johnson.
The incident happened after the boat flipped while he was fishing alongside his cousin De’markus Mosley.
Mosley and his cousin CJ Johnson were fishing at Ulmer Pond for the first time on Sunday afternoon.
Their boat capsized, leaving them in the cold water for about 40 minutes.
They managed to swim to shore, but Johnson went back into the water to retrieve their bag with the car keys.
Unfortunately, Mosley saw him disappear underwater shortly after.
His cousin added, “That’s how we spent most of our time. That’s how we really bonded. Four or five times out of the week if we get the time to even try to fish then we will go fish, that’s really how we got so close we enjoyed it and loved it. Being able to talk about anything and just feel free,”
Mosley tried to swim to Johnson but exhausted himself. Instead, he decided to run to the road to flag down help.
Soon after, the area was filled with police and others searching for Johnson. Mosley was taken to the hospital quickly.
Recovery efforts paused at 1:30 a.m. on Monday and resumed at sunrise. Within two hours, divers found Johnson’s body.
His cousin futher added, “You have thoughts…it just a flashback continually going in my head of you know his voice, his screams, his hand coming out of the water. It’s just those things right there that are continually popping up in my head. I just tried to do everything in my power to be there for him as he was there for me. As he fought every odd to get me, I try to fight every odd to get him. That’s what really hurts is that I wasn’t able to get him,”.
The Valdosta Fire Department searched for CJ Johnson’s body amid sadness and grief.
What was supposed to be a fun day turned into a tragic event. Finding Johnson’s body reminds us that outdoor activities can be dangerous. It also changes the way we remember our fishing trips.
