Valdo Calocane is a graduate of the University of Nottingham whose name made headlines after being named the killer of the 2023 Nottingham attacks.
He violently attacked and killed three people in Nottingham on the morning of June 13, 2023.

Valdo Calocane is a criminal who stabbed three people to death. The horrific incident happened on June 13, 2023.
In the early hours of June 13, two 19-year-olds were discovered fatally stabbed on Ilkeston Road, Radford, Nottingham.
At 05:25, police responded to an incident where a van drove into people waiting at a city center bus stop near the Theatre Royal, injuring three individuals.
Later, Valdo was identified as the suspect. After attempting the crime, he then tried to run over two other pedestrians in the Sherwood Street area.

Valdo Calocane is a graduate of the University of Nottingham. He graduated in mechanical engineering in 2022.
Talking about his early educational background, Calcocane went to Sir Thomas Picton School. It has been said that Calocane was academically successful.
Calocane’s name has been making rounds on internet sources after he stabbed three people in 2021.
Moreover, Valdo had no criminal record and was not on the security services’ radar, but he did have a history of mental health issues.
As per the BBC, he reportedly attacked two co-workers just five weeks before his deadly rampage.
While in university, Calocane was evaluated under the Mental Health Act in 2020 following an incident where he attempted to break down doors in his student accommodation.

Valdo Calocane was born on September 4, 1991, in Guinea-Bissau making his age 32 years as of 2024.
Not to mention, Calocane refers to himself as Adam Mendes. He moved to Madeira with his family around age three and later to Lisbon, Portugal, at about eight years old.
His father relocated to Pembrokeshire for construction work on an oil refinery in Milford Haven.
Furthermore, Calocane was the eldest of his siblings. Calocane was said to be quiet and moved out of the family house when he was just 17 years old.
Before the killings, Calocane kept his severe mental illness a secret from his parents and inconsistently took anti-psychotic medication.
According to the prosecution at Nottingham Crown Court, his schooling was described as largely uneventful.
He opted out of pursuing A-levels due to doubts about achieving the required grades, choosing instead to work as a laborer or cleaner.
